I came across these illustrations in a collection of public domain vintage artwork. I can't tell you why, but I could not get them out of my head. Something about the inherent sass worked for me. Don't take the message the wrong way. It's not a rude rejection of friendly advice — it's a rejection of uninvited "suggestions." The ones with a tone. You know the ones.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
